i got it for $800 it needs clutch, brakes, and axle... its 89 crx SI...














what do you guys think.... plus i need a new muffler... which im getting tomorow done... its 89 crx SI...

needs MORE than that...... but for $800, i'd scoop it up

i dont have alot of money to spend on fixin it... so ryte now ill just do the basic... im gona put clutch in with the axle, im putting muffler in tomorow.... and get a tune-up on it... and for now its gona it... till the end of this month...

next month is suspension...

 

that is a good lil fixer upper car...i would def pick that up for 800 given the motor is in good condition

 

its still runs... even with the way clutch ryte now... but it slips alot on the gears... oh and it got 190k on it

 

def worth the 8 bills

 

damn, thats how my civic came w/ the painted air vents and such, fuking rice, oh well, I would still buy it though...

i like it. only problem is the rust, the painted interior, and you can tell by the way the stereo is wired (the way the wire's run, the gauge it is, etc.) that the PO had no idea what the hell they were doing. everything else is an easy fix. i miss my 89 si.

lol. oddly enough i saw that website for the first time tonight, and that interior definitely looks like it's from that site.

anyways get that rust taken care of! i do dig the 'why49' color. not bad for 800. both of my crx's have over 190k. one's got a swap but the my DD has 210k on the block. still running strong as hell.

HOLY **** I went to go look at that thing a week or two ago. That car belonged to my co-worker's room-mate. I was checking it out for a friend. Damn man you got alotta work to do that thing scarred me when I saw it. He wouldn't go any lower than $1800 at the time with the rims, $1200 without. Looks like you were able to talk him down to what my max would have been. Too bad my friend diidn't like it at all...

 

Good find for 800bux. Just replace the interior pieces with black ones again. Good call on doing the suspention next? What kind of suspention are yougoing to run? Dig'n those wheels

 

BTW I just saw you today on touhy by mcdonalds around noon...I got some interior panels I could part with if interested...

 

thanks guys..... yea.... they didnt know what they were doing with that car.. its good that it got in my hands... even tho there is rust... im gona take care of that for sure.... im thinking of putting kyb agx adjustable shocks and h&r springs or if ill find sumtin good for a good price... and ill get some strut bars.... but yea.... ryte now i wana fix the body and the inside get that yellow ricy shiet out... it just doesnt look ryte...
