Prospecting
I'm currently looking to buy a 1991 NSX w/ 27,000 miles from a dealership in my area. What I am wondering is if 24,xxx dollars is a good deal. I have heard that on the 1st gen nsx's (before the c32 engines) have had some sort of mechanical issues around the 70k+ mileage range but I figure that 27,000 miles should be just fine, right? Well, here is what i know about the car:
1991 Acura NSX
bone stock
5 spd 3.0 litre
27,000 miles
red on black
clean title
Should i do it?
Thanks for your time.

24k is dirt cheap for that car with those miles. I would look at it a little closer and run a vin inspection. The only mechanical issue I can think of you could possibly be referring to is the snap ring. Check prime for more info on this.
Sounds like you don't know much about the NSX. (There is no failure associated with the 70K mileage mark.) Do some research. Start with the NSX FAQ (answers to Frequently Asked Questions). There's a "sticky" topic with a link to the NSX FAQ at the top of this forum.
