Default What would you pay for a crx shell?

I have the chance to by a 90 crx dx shell with no rust on the body and only driverside fender damage. The car has a full interior minus the seats, headliner, and carpet. There is no title on the car. What would you pay for this shell? Also is there anyway that I could get a title made for this car and how would I do that?

Cheers

yeah, assuming you could get the title (if you can get it depends on certain circumstances that i won't get into here) and the damage is just to the fender, and not to the unibody, then a rust free crx is worth a bit to me. but if either of those are bad, its worth just the parts i take off of it.

Shoot shells here go for $500-1000 even with rust. People here seems to love their rex'es. Love them so much they would wrather let them sit in their yard and rust than sell them to someone who will treat them right.

Not over $500 for a shell with no title.

The $ amount worth of a crx is directly proportional to the amount of rust it has. A rust free CRX is well worth paying even more than blue book for it. I was lucky to find a rust free 88 HF from someone who had bought it from Tampa and only drove it in PA for a couple months.

Why is therte no title ? seems kinda shady.

200 tops if it has no title. Just check it to make sure it is clean and not stolen. If it isnt, try to get the lowest price possible!

I am not sure exatly why there is no title on the car but I will try my best to find that out. Also where can I run the vin on this car to find out if it is indeed stolen, being a victim of a crx theft myself I wouldn't want to be taking anyone's baby away if I could help it. Also the shell is in the midwest which is notorious for snow/salt/sand and of course that means 99% of the crx's have rust on them including mine. I might just pick this up for parts to use on my car or sell.

Thanks guys

Here you can take the Vin to the police station and have them run it. Just explain your situation
