ecu question

Default ecu question

okay just bought another crx 90 hf with a b16a3 driving it home and thought id kick a mustangs *** but i noticed that i was at 6k and there was no vtec got home kinda pissed but oh well not an idiot so started to dig into it and i find a p61 ecu this struck me as weird and ran to my other crx p75 so i took my ecu plugged it in and vtec so heres my long winded question what is a p61 for

The P61 is from the 92-93 Integra GS-R with the B17. So apparently the car has an OBD1 conversion to run that, and the P75. The P75 is from the Integra LS, so unless someone has chipped it to add vtec, I'm not sure how vtec is working with that ecu.

You spank on mustangs with a vtec-less B16?? Every B16 without vtec I've driven dies at like 5500, feels like a geo metro.

it has been chiped to work with my ls vtec i just wasnt sure if i could make use of this other ecu or if it was a paper weight you think i should use a gsr ecu insted

and it did die out on me when vtec should of happened and i did lose
