Well I jsut bought a 91 si Cable tranny and it looks like its gonna need a rebuild, does anyone kno of a shop in the dfw area thatll rebuild honda transmissions? btw it was only 80 bucks

Damn. I had hoped there was going to be a link to a nice picture tutorial in here. No one has ever rebuilt a tranny? Come on!

Now that I think about it... the CRX manual that I have outlines the procedure.... I think. Maybe check yours... if you have one.

You could buy a ZC transmission from hmotorsonline or jdmshit and swap everything over to build a hybrid transmission with better gearing.
