pretty sure you need the fuel system from the RSX ive heard that a complete jdm swap costs about $8200 usdm may be cheaper.

well for cost for the motor and the tricky install required your looking at 10 grand.... a very expensive swap, but good bang.

it wont be that much prob about 8k but if u can do the swap yourself and make the harness yourself u could literally save thousands. maybe like 2000

Great question; I don't think that's ever been asked. You keep coming up with really interesting questions.

The hardest part of this swap is the wire harness and getting past the immobilizer (if the stock ECU is used).

Uhhhhhh one that runs? You need to do some research before you ask anymore questions. Think about these while you do it:
-Do you wanna spend all $5000 on just a engine?
-Do you wanna go all motor or turbo?
-Do you know how to do a swap yourself?
-Do you know how to fix something if it breaks?
-Can you afford to keep a built engine running?

i recomend not going k series at all. im not nockin on your taste but if you plan on really goin somewhere with this engine then you might need to know they have really weak rods and my friend Dean has had to k series motors and both of them lost compression. so to tell you the truth i would def. go b series

Would it be possible to use up all $5k on your stock engine? For that much you could make that thing fly

Okay so I don't really know anything, but just offering another idea!

Wow, and you think there is an endless supply of b series engines? He can always rebuild the k20 if anything goes wrong with it internally. With how many people are shooting rods or completely destroying their b series engines, they will be obsolite LONG before the k series have even begun to scratch the surface of a dominating hybrid swap.

u can get K20a2 swaps for alot less than 4500. And u can make everything for the swap fairly easy (i bought mounts), u dont need the fuel system from a rsx?...just get a golden eagle fuel rail and aeromotive regualtor and -6 lines to connect them and its done. U can go the swap installed into a eg for less than 4g no problem

I believe you need all the tranny from RSX, so basically you will be driving with 6 speed transmission from RSX. Also, I believe K20 is a bit heavier than B series engines, therefore, you need to find a way to reduce some weights while swapping.

No, they are lighter. And you can use any of the k series trannies. But the Type S 6 speed is the best.
