this past weekend I noticed the lights on the center console(the radio and all componets around it) went out. All of the funtions work but the lights to see the buttons and radio screen are out. The dash lights are ok. I checked all the fuses inside and out but them seem ok aswell. even turning the trip meter **** dosen't do anything. I don't want to take this to the dealership, anyone ever have this probelm? thank you!

 

make sure you checked the right fuses! gen7accord.com and v6performance.com are good places to get specific info on 7th gen. not many 7th gen owners in this forum, so sometimes its hard to get specific feedback. gl

 

If you're talking about the audio/heater display panel then call the dealership. There was a problem with 03 accord radios failing and causing this problem. If you're out of warranty call Honda consumer affairs and they will most likely tell you where to take it to get fixed. My dealer has goodwill warrantied several of these units for our good customers that were out of factory warranty. If it is the problem I stated there is no fix except replacing the head unit.
