peak/hold resistor question

peak/hold resistor question
gonna have AEM EMS on this setup when its done, anyone wanna explain the resistor box from saturated to peak/hold? what kind of resistor and how it mounts and what not. i've saerched the topic, but mostly what i'm reading is that you need a resistor for peak/hold, just not how it sets up.
