I see Karen, but that's about it right now. Only 89 entrants so far...let's fill it up!
Edit to say that I just looked in STS...missed a few, I guess! Congrats to JZR for the Atwater win!

Hey, I noticed STS has 11 drivers at Wendover. Some of you guys ought to come over to STU (or even STX if you want to help Sortor). Notice that STU was slower at Atwater than those toughies Motonishi and McCormick - you have a better chance against me than you do against them!!!
Right now, 4 class defectors would be just right....

I'm trying to decide between risking my car (bad lifters, tranny that still jumps out of 2nd) in GS and trying Bridgette's Miata in STS2.
I drove the Miata this past Sunday on really bald Azenis and still loved it. I don't know if it can beat Szabo's car, though, and I know it won't be fun to bump into STX if we don't get a full class...

That's simply because I'm missing my apex cones by a mile because I suck so bad. I haven't hit a cone for two straight years now at the Atwater Pro. Perhaps I need to start trying harder.

Sounds familiar...
I once asked Matthew Braun about his lines through the course...
"I don't know where the line is. I drive in the middle, that way I figure I'm never too far off the line."

Hey Jesse,
I get lost sometimes while I walk course; that's how bad I am at remembering courses. Infact, on my second walk on one side, I was looking at the wrong corner and thinking "Damn, I have a lot of room to set up for that", and then realizing I was looking at the wrong corner...

I'll gladly provide 2 quality beers for free to any STS driver who changes classes to STU, to help us make a class. I think Richard and Max are coming in their Evo, so we only need 2 people to switch.
The beer is guaranteed, even if you beat me!!

So I'm assuming that an STX car run STU as an STS car may??
If I wasn't running STS to block points, then I'd find someway to get in an Evo or an STi and do some short work on the Lexus. I've always gone faster in an STU car by quite a bit over the STS Civics. And that is b4 considering the launch advantage of AWD.
But given Mr. Rhoades's exceptional talent, I'd never count him out even if he was running a Geo Metro in STU.

Wasn't that the infamous "drive by braille" line?
JRho, I'd run STU for you if I wasn't going for DS points this year. Since I ran L2 at Atlanta, I need to run DS at the next three Pros in order to max out my DS points.

Depending on how my tire testing goes this week, I might bite. Seriously.

How goes the testing Andy? I'd think that as a recipe holder to ST's secret tire sauce, the choice would be easy...
Ken, Kevin, Josh, and I have all made our tire decision for the year; whatcha doin' still working on yours?
In case you do try running with STU:

Uh J-Rho, what happened to all that great bier you said you were concocting? I'm still waiting to taste some of it.
Hopefully no $622 speeding ticket this year. Considering I'm going to drive the Civic there, that shouldn't be a problem since it is pretty slow. I just hope the car makes it there in one piece.

I see Kinch just registered in DS...filling up nicely!
Kinch, do you need a tire-warmer (or would you like one) to help beat Karen, Mark, Kevin, and Glen?

Just be happy the weather is cool - when I drove it out there in July '03 it was 100+ the whole way!
Haven't had time to bottle the beer, an Irish Ale that should be extremely smooth by the time it's ready to be consumed. Been too busy working on the car! Wing went on last night, ATS carbon LSD going in today, stickers going on tonight. I'll bring the big cooler though, should have plenty of beer for the whole weekend.

State Line Nugget, home of a legion of smokin' hot Romanian blackjack dealers, at least circa 2004. Hopefully not all of them have moved to Vegas. Wendover's like the minor leagues for dealers it seems.
It's also the closest hotel to the site.
