at least you guys didnt fall in your own garage......
i was sitting on the bike to get an idea of how my new jacket would fit in a riding position. i guess in the motion to put my left foot on the peg, i knocked the kickstand back a little. well, i didnt notice it........ until i was putting the bike back on the stand. i kept waiting for it to catch and it never did, and by then it was too late to catch the bike with just one leg. so i hopped off while i could and let the frame sliders work their magic
. just a slight scratch on the mirror and that was it.
hopefully that made those have been injured laugh a little, i posted that for you guys

That exact thing happened to me awhile back except I managed to catch it before it went too low to save. As a result I now keep my left foot behind the stand as I step off the bike to be certain it's as far forward as possible and that it stays there.

LOL...the same **** happened to me, but I'm certainly not beefy enough to catch the bike.
I think most SV owners have probably dropped their bikes, but don't need to tell anyone since basically nothing happens when you drop it.

Corrected, yeah I am used to doing the date in the military style, yah know 5 March 2005 as opposed to March 5th 2005. Not only does it sound cooler but people sometimes give ya a wierd look when you say the date first.
