well does anyone know if the price on used ek's, or any of the older generation hb's for that matter, will be lowered once the new si comes out. thanks

 

when I was shopping for EKs, one salesman did tell me that the reason hatches were hard to come by and expensive, relative to coupes and sedans, was because there wasn't one currently in the lineup, so people who wanted a hatchback had to get used ones.

I've also heard other reasons: They didn't make as many, they didn't sell that many new, they're just plain popular.

I think it's all a bunch of bs price gouging. People will find other reasons to charge too much for hatches as long as the demand is up.
