Looking for someone out there with experience useing High heat black spray paint to coat there engine bay? How well did it work? cracking or chipping? did it look ok? does it hold up? need some imput before i actually do it?

of corse i will be sanding and primering before its laid down.

i did mine it came out good but after a while started to faid so lay a couple of coats on you should be fine make sure you use high temp its easy to do by the way and looks good imo

 

A friend of mine used regular krylon spraypaint and his came out good.

 

anyone else with experience in this?

 

did mine awhile back, turned out awesome....still looks good...
i degreased, cleaned well, primed, sprayed....

 

just wondering, can you use that high temp wrinkle paint thats people use on valve covers and how many cans did u guys use?

Yah that looks pimp. anyone else have picks of spray painted engine bays.

you painted the bay but it looks like you ran out of paint for the valve cover

 

All u have to do is skotch brite the engine bay, paint it, then clear coat it. ill post more pics later of my DA.

 

wow, my mans valve cover needs help...
