hi just wondering where i could get an owners manual for a 89 honda accord.. me and my dad were looking for the transmission yesterday and we just could not find the dipstick.. but there's oil all over my hood so it somethings going on that shouldn't be.. i know i have a transmission we just couldnt locate it.. so anyone know where i can look online or go somewhere and buy an owners manual for my car?? please help..

On ebay do a search for:

Haynes Accord 89

You can pick up a Haynes manual for $6 or $7 after shipping. Not as comprehensive as the repair manual in the post above, but a lot cheaper and will cover most of what you will want to do.

 

wich side is oil under hood?? if it is driver side i bet you have a p/s pump seal leaking

 

by the way the tranny dipstick is below lower rad hose, move hose out of way and you will see it it is not a pull-up dipstick you have to unscrew it
