Default is it squidly to tuck on the highway?

besides the fact that an officer gets a hard on evertime he sees a rider tucked on his bike, i get laughs from other riders because of it.

i hear ya on that

i tuck when-

1.im lazy and want to take the weight off my arms
2.cold
3.im doin a 95+

i dont know why any rider would laugh because im sure they all do it.if they dont, thats weird.

i tried sitting up straight and looking at my speed, then tucking in at same throttle position, and i went 3 mph faster.not a big deal but just crazy to see the difference in wind resistance

I love cruising past someone going 80mph in full tuck.

I sometimes do it because I'm lazy and slouch on the tank.

We've been getting some serious winds in my area and doing the speed limit on the highway can be tiresome with the wind full on. So I tuck. I've even rested on the gas tank on long trips once or twice. It's no big deal.

I tuck in when it's cold and when I'm accelerating hard... but I think that's about it.

If you're cruising along at 80 on a pretty day in a race tuck yeah, I'll probably laugh at you But riding isn't about what everybody else thinks. C'mon now.

on my first long road trip, i flat out laid on the tank with my legs hooked over the rear passenger pegs. propped my chin up with my left hand. only did this on the long boring highway stretches when not around any cars...

Reduced wind noise.
Less bugs on my visor/helmet.

I tuck if I'm behind a truck and the backwash is blowing my head all over the place. I also find tucking in anything over 75 mph on a windy day tends to make life a little bit easier. Then again I have a bit bigger of a "wind profile" than most of you so.... umm.... yeah.

I tuck when I am cold, tired, or it is windy.

I tuck most of the time when on the freeway(usually about 80mph+)...It is way more comfortable without the wind knocking your head around and keeps your visor a tad cleaner! But, I will do the cool guy left arm propped on your leg to let folks know I am not trying to fully tuck at 80mph!!!LOL

I hate tucking. I find it much more comfortable to let the wind hold me up at anything under 90 mph. It's a pain in the *** to bend my lanky frame to try and fit behind the windscreen.

My brother on the other hand usually rides around tucked at anything over 50 because he says its the only way to not kill his back and arms on the 636.

I got a built in cushion that's practically touching the tank when I'm upright anyway. I knew this thing would come in handy for something!

I wish! I'm a skinny ******.

All I have between my ribs and the tank is some skin and some leather. Whenever I hit a bump it feels like someone is punching me in the chest. I think I need to order me a chest protector

No you don't. I'll tell you what... next time you see the devil, ask him if we can switch.
