Is there any reason to add an intake to a 1990 civic sedan?

Is there any reason to add an intake to a 1990 civic sedan?
Hey people whats up? this is my first post, and what do u know its a ? haha
I was just wondering whether or not I should put short ram or even a cold air intake into my 1990 Civic 4 door sedan. Im not sure if my car has the resources to even use the power that the intake can add to the engine.

EX or DX or LX? Ex its worth it, its MPFI ... the 2 latter, naw, Ive had 2 hatch dpfi and one dpfi sedan.. and dpfi is **** and wont respond to mods well.
