I recently purchased a 1990 Honda Accord. The transmission is good, and has the sport feature button on it, for whatever that's worth. It has power locks and windows.
The only thing it doesn't seem to have, is a functioning engine.

My problem is this - I want to put the most powerful stock Honda engine into it as I possibly can, without having to mess with mounts, firewalls, getting a new tranny, et cetera.

It's not a v8 transplant deal, nor an expensive SPOON engine job, just a compatible JHM Honda engine.

I'd be VERY happy with any help anyone can offer! Thank you for your time!

Look into the H22 conversion. Do a search, there are posts everywhere.
