Default Best 92-95 Hatchback Model?

Can't really search for this (Because i cant put in words like CX, VC, DX, etc) SO i'm gonna ask it. If mods want to delete it then its fine. But I figured it was worth a try.

This summer i'll be looking into getting a Milano Red 92-95 Hatchback. And I was wondering what would the best model to get be? Which one comes with Automatic windows but no sunroof and whatnot? Because I dont need all that extra weight. I could care less about the motor cause its gonna be swapped.

None have power windows and the only one that comes with a sunroof is the Si. Your best bet for the least weight would be a CX or VX.

your sig is ironic.

That aside, hatches came in cx, vx, dx, and si, I believe. I would search for you and find out, but you could do it yourself too

I tried... I cant put in words like CX VX DX or SI. So I'm **** outta luck.

So I guess I would be best off getting a CX hoping that it has A/C in it? lol I could care less for an Si... I dont need a Sunroof. Is it possible to put in some power windows? Cause I hate cranking windows down lol.

Thanks a lot for the quick replies guys.

I also found B18C5-Eh2's hatchback weight thread. So I got the weight thing down.

Don't get an Si unless you absolutely want a sunroof.

Between CX, DX, VX it doesn't matter just get what you find in the best condition for the right amount of money.

VX's are the best in my opinion.

They came with stock:
tach
shift light
front lip
alloy wheels
rear bumper air diffuser
mine came with air cond. even tho that was prolly an option..so never mind that.

i dont know what else..

it really depends on your plans for the car. Are you tracking it, daily driver, what?

Also insurence played a part in my decision. The si was cheaper cause of abs.

good luck

Nope. Dx doesn't have ac. But it does have ps. I put in power mirrors in my Dx. Just because I am lazy .

1995 Honda Civic Si Hatchback is the only hatchback with automatic windows and doors standard. It has a sunroof, but what the hell, it's one of the better hatchies out there. If you don't want the weight, get a CX and do a JDM door swap, there you have it, auto windows and doors with no sunroof.

get a Si if u want the power steering, sunroof and all the lil luxury ****.. but if u want the lightest model get the cx or vx

none of the models came out of the factory w/ ac... it was a dealership option so u can find a cx w/ ac and an Si w/o.. trust me on this im 100% sure

just bring it to a shop to install power windows

i actually own a 93 cx model. first they are the BASE model they do not come with ac or ps STANDARD mine has neither(and no it never came with it) as far as swaps go i dropped a b16 in mine (now its getting a built engine and turbo) and im no expert but i was told the cx was pre-wired for vtec and i had no problems whatsoever.

the si does have the option of abs and the sunroof and i think there is a power locks and windows ooption(dunno if it was standard)

as for the cx if you want power windows and locks its actually not that big of a pain. i got power locks by installing a security system(its only power on the remote i dont have the button on the door) however you can swap power windows and power locks from a ex or si or even an integra(i was told any year) may require some modification but overall it can be done and its not horrible.

i looked into all that for mine because the windows are a pain but i learned to live without them and weighin only 2100lbs is not bad for me

I would go with a VX .. mine came with A/C ... thats if you're looking for performance.. like motor swap... its also the lightest of the four... but if youre looking for luxury.. like power accessories.. then the SI

I've never seen a 92-95 Si with power windows and door locks optional or standard, I've only seen ones people swapped in from the 92-95 EX coupes....
