Messed up my SI lip (Large Pics for Detail Purposes)
So I had my new SI lip for one day... and the first time on the highway... It RIPS off my front bumper... I look in horror as I see my new lip get run over by car after car... in shock, i didnt know weither I should go back and get it or not.. I got off the next exit and flipped one, parked my car on the side of the road and ran on the highway to get it.. to my surprise it wasnt that bad of shape.. but there are some deap gouges and scrapes EVERY wherere...
my lip when I got home

didnt have a bottom screw... it ripped through the first one

Some of the scratches along the body

Along the top, this what im worried about

What I was wondering was... how do I fix this, I know I need to wet sand... but should I start from low to high? like 300 600 800 etc, and also, I was wondering if I should use bondo, does it work on like plastic? help me out guys!
So I started Sanding down the lip, to smooth out the gouges and scrapes. I started with the 220 grit wet sand paper, and moved up to 800 Grit. Here are some shots of it now
Here is the whole lip, it looks ALOT better because a lot of the smaller scratches and stuff are gone.

Before I started sanding the scratchs and gouges were 3x's as BAD

since the lip is made of plastic, does that mean bondo wont stay stuck to the lip? im sanding it down right now, and tere are still some deep gouges in around the lip.
you need to sand down like youre doing.
you can start with like a 220 wet because those gouges will take a while to get smooth.
you need to go to your local "high end" bodyshop parts store and buy plastic surgery, plastic filler.
it comes in different rigidness, i would go with the softest one as the lip is gonna bend, scrape, flex again anyway.
just follow the directions on the box and apply it like bondo. let it dry and sand smooth.
ill go take some pics for you right now of the box.

all the people that say the lip is toast prolly pay people to install their mods
since not everyone is made of money, this is what you need. when you go to buy the plastic repair, buy some 3M doublestick tape so it wont happen again.
