my friend has some itr injectors that wouldnt fit his car because it is and obd1 and the injectors are obd2, he was thinking since my car was an obd2 that they would work,im in need of more fuel, does anyone know what the difference in size would be? and if they would work for sure?

i think they are 240cc injectors, same as the ones you already have. if you need more fuel, buy an adj. fuel pressure regulator.

 

i thought that all hondas were the same stock except for the itr and the ctr? might be wrong though

ITR injectors are 240 cc. If you're looking for higher-flowing Honda OBD-2 injectors, go with Prelude 290 cc units.

 

whats your setup? how do you know you need more fuel?

hondas run so disgustingly rich from the factory

 

also if they are JDM ITR injectors I think that they are 270cc

 

USDM Type R's are 240cc as well as almost everything else Honda.

 

my setup so far... i got p29 pistons that give my 12 to 1 comp or so and i,h,e its not really running very good right now i think i need cams but i got save up for them my friend just had the injectors just laying around so i figured if they gave me more fuel i would use them. my only ? is how can a type r have the same injectors as a d series there is so much more power? does anyone have any suggestions on what to do next?

 

Get a higher volume fuel pump and and the B&M gauge and regulator. That solved my problems when i was boosting.

 

do you think i will gain any hp from the fuel pressure reg.?

 

What you really should do is properly tune your setup.

cause its cheaper to make one injector and use it in all your cars and then just vary the pulse width via the ecu.
example - in a d series say you only use 50% of you 240's and in a type r you use like 85% of thier total output. make sense??

 

Stock Y8 injectors are good to 170 HP...I doubt you need bigger injectors. Get uberdata or a VAFC and tune the bitch.

Not necessarily a better or worse sort of thing. Depends upon your own preference, your budget (Uberdata itself is more or less free, Hondata obviously isn't), and the availability of proficient tuners in your area. Some people also choose to tune Uberdata themselves, which isn't really an option with Hondata in most cases.

As far as combining one of these two systems with a V-AFC, there really isn't any need to do so, and the V-AFC would just be redundant. The only time I could see it being useful is if you had a Hondata setup tuned and you wanted to make some of your own tuning changes at a later date, but if you're going to be doing your own tuning, Uberdata would be the way to go anyway.

thanks for the advice how do i get uberdata? do i have to pay? im not familiar with anything besides bolt ons
