d16z6 manual into my 99ex auto...
we did a full conversion on my car.... i went from a dead stock d16yb auto to a d16z6 manual with some minor mods :aem CAI, skunk2 intake manifold, APC plug wires, dc 4-2-1 header w/ header wrap, OBX highgflow cat, and OBC cat back, a chipped "mugen" ECU( i have the obd2to1 conversion harness) and a lightweight flywheel(new OEM clutch) so anyways....the car is running but its throwing codes 14&6. which are idle&collant codes...the sensors that these are going for are not long enough to reach their ports. whats the best way to extend these sensors without frying some thing else???ALSO i put in poly mounts on all three motor mounts and its TERRIBLE...i think i will be taking out the back insert, because it shakes like CRAZY in nuetral, and getting up to speed is a nightmare anything under 2000 rpms...and what im thinking is either the mounts are just TOO stiff for daily driving...or i need to have the car proffesionally tuned to work out the bugs...any suggestions?
it came off a 95si'...which was SOHC vtec... it seems to be doing allright, besides the IACV is ******* up and it dies at idle...but the ECU pulls super hard, kicks vtec on @4500&5600 and redlines (supposedly) @9000 (which obviously i will never see with my stock rods.)...
