Its about that time.... yay im getting new shoes for my car retiring the steelies. thinking about getting 15's but really considering 16's just what opinions or what you would get and what tire size. for me if i get 15's i will fit them with 205/50/15
if i get 16's then 250/45/16 what do you guys think??? send pics if possible.

I think that is going to be a pretty wide tire

 

hahahaha is your car lowered? mine is hammered and i have 205/50/15 on stock si rims. it rubs but looks hawt. either size should do ya just fine. 16" wheel selection is limited though. i want some but cant find any i like. im prolly just gonna stick with 15" i guess. good luck.

got 16's with 215/45/16 falken azenis, eats the wheel well gap nicely and the wide tire gives a nice aggressive look, but the tires rub, need to roll the fenders more so i can slam her more

what makes it rub the fender is it the fact that it is a 16 inch rim or is it the 215 base? thinking of getting these royal bronze w/ polished lip with 195/45/16 tires... what do you guys think in going on a black Ek

 

the 195 or 215 in the tire code is talking about the WIDTH of the rubber. 195's are usually the tire of choice for 6.5 inch wide wheels.

My .02 is that either 15's or 16's look just fine on a hatch. Anything else is pushing the boundaries of good taste.

 

yea i agree its just that if i put 16's then slam it im worried about the tire rubbing on the fender. so im thinking will it rub becasue of the tire width or the rim and tire size???

i got rota gt3's they look almost identical to those on my black EK and it looks hot! mine rub because the rotas are slightly offset so the fender touches the rubber, a less wide tire would tuck into the well nicely

15s is dope...overall seems better such as traction weight and looks...stick to 15s mo original
