I AM THE LUCKIEST MAN ALIVE!!!!!!
So i went to see it today expecting everything to be screwed, dented, striped, raped, and otherwise torn apart. Cosmetically it looked awesome exactly how it was before except dirty and missing front bumper and has different headlights. That is very strange theives stealing just a bumper and headlights and even replacing the headlights? Nothing else stolen except they cut off the muffler. Thats the weirdest thing.....rims still on everything still intact......engine untouched, left the intake....everything, just took my bumper, traded headlights and took my muffler. Luckily i already have another front bumper i got in a trade so i am almost back in business. Crazy.....Doesnt even feel ragged. Joyriders i guess. Wow.


My cousin is trying to learn stick shift transmission so i loaned him my 96 civic ex. Last night he said he heard some gigling and crap going on outside so he grabbed a baseball batt and went outside. He said there were 3 guys and a chick trying to start my car and he started yelling and swinging. Well somehow these guys managed to take the bat from my 6'4" 220lb cousin and knock him out. When he woke up my car was gone and it was daylight. He said 2 black guys, 1 white guy, 1 black chick. One of the black dudes was at least 6'6 300lbs according to him (why would a guy like that steal a civic?) So anyways ive been looking all day and no luck. This sucks bad cause i leave my car unlocked with keys in it in my rural front door open town of 300 people but my cousin lives near atl so.....

Wow this sucks bad. Im going to look again

next time... when someone is trying to steal ur car... it usually means JAIL if they are caught.... so either call 911.. or u better have a GUN ...

just cause hes 6'6 and black doesn't mean he can't try and steal a civic.. maybe he wasn't the one accutlly stealin it. what im trying to say is a thief doesn't have a specific shape or size.

ITS FOUND!!!!!!!!

I just got a call from the cops and they told me that they found it. The lady didnt tell me anything other than it was driveable so i got to wait until tommorow to go take a look. But the driveable thing has me optomistic

I want to say props to the forsyth co. sherrifs dept for working fast on this one. It was gone for about 16 hours so im optimistic

sigh......tommorow is so far away

make sure you bring a digital camera because i definatly want to see pictures. You are a lucky person to have that car back ill tell you that much, and for it to be "driveable" can mean a whole lot or very little, you will find out shortly

yeah hes ok other than getting the living crap beat out of him for the first time. Thought he had a concussion but dr. said hes ok just bruised up. He can usually kick some butt.....dont know what happened

not to spoil the whole "i got it back thing" but i doubt you got rims left on it.. 16 hours isnt much time, but 10 minutes to jack a car and undo lugs prolly means they grabbed all the easy stuff - sounds like you got an engine tho

wow got it back not bad. I was honestly hoping the tailights would be gone to give me an excuse to change them but wow. Only things taken was the bumper, changed the headlights (WTF?!?!?!?) and the muffler.

most likely they got in a front end accident, and wanted new parts for there car so just took the parts off your car

glad you got your car back in pretty good condition at least they didnt wreck it / strip it
