Well I did it. I painted my exhaust.
I had made a thread about whether it was alright to paint my exhaust on my EX250. It was all rusted and shitty looking.
Well today I went ahead and did it.
I took off the lower ferring and only detached the slip on part of the exhaust.
I sanded basically the full exhaust on both sides, painted the slip-on part with 1000 degree Rust-o-leum and the 'header' part with 1200 degree Rust-o-leum.
I haven't started the bike yet because the paint says to let sit for 24 hours until "heating"
I put a few coats on, but I expect it to smell for a lil' bit.
Overall looks a lot better, makes the bike look newer.
Here's some pics.

Thanks
The stock exhaust was a little glossy, but I like the 'flat black' look better

So can you go through the steps you took in a little more detail. The stock exhaust on my 250 is getting rusty down arround the header more than the slip-on, and I'd like to paint it before I sell it.

Sure man, mine was really nasty up there too, with rust bumps and crap.
I just took the bottom fairing off, took off both slip on exhausts, I left the rest of the exhaust on, and just sanded it from there, and sanded the slip ons. I sprayed the slip ons a few coats, and taped up the bike to spray the rest of the exhaust. I put 2-3 layers on each full exhaust, I waited 24 hours to drive the bike after painting, and it's doing fine!

Hopefully not
I used 1000 degree rustoleum on the slip on part and 1200 degree on the header part.
