I am wondering about these pistons, if anyone has them in their ITR? They are made for JUN. I bought a jdm engine for my ITR( I bought used with a blown engine). When swapping the oil pump I noticed cosworth on the bottom of them and it has titanium valve spring retainers. I still have a factory computer in it. It is quite rich. I notice a little piston slap when the engine is cold. Is this pretty normal?

 

Cosworth pistons... I didn't know cosworth had made pistons for hondas... I know they made motors for specialty audi lines (rs), the ford cosworth (rally escort) but I never knew they made anything for honda nor know if they tuned any hondas...

Cosworth make JUN pistons and rods as well as other parts. Is quite possible that you also have JUN cams in there too...have you had the car on the dyno yet?

 

I have not dynoed it yet. I am looking to get a kenji chipped ecu. I only have the stock ecu in it now. Then I am going to get dynoed.

 

Yes, Cosworth does make pistons and JUN does use them.
