Default apexi rsm

i have a couple questions, i have had this unit installed in my car for a couple months now. my question is, does the speed limiter work? because i set it lower and it doesn't seem like the fuel is cutting off.

also what is the RevO and SpeedO settings suppose to do? i change it around and nothing happens. i know the RevW and SpeedW is warning light to go on at the set speeds and revs.

I think the speed limiter only work for cars in Japan that have their ECU set to cut off fuel at 180km/h!! (Is it 180km/h? Can't remember for sure.) Since the ECU for cars in US don't have this function, you don't need to worry about it.

ok i think i found the answer to all 3, and people with this unit who didn't know how to answer here are the answers.

speed output and rev output is for external accessories, if u have an extra shift light or whatever, those two outputs are the setting so that device will flash. if you don't have the external lights, might as well set those two options off.

also the SLC or speed limit cutoff should work. does anybody have it working on there car? mine doesn't seem to work, but it suppose to work. any insights? my wiring might be wrong? anybody have any instructions to wire the SLC right? mayfay say that doesn't exist on our cars, but someobody else told me that it should work. all i know is that i have set the value on all the speeds, from low to high, and it doesn't cut the fuel. the car just keeps on going.

ok more about this, this function u can set from increments of 10km/h to 200km/h, and u can also set it off, which is good for japanese cars in japan. somebody on this board must know what i'm talking about. say i want to set SLC at 120km/h when i drive the highway, that will cause me never to pass 80mph on highway driving. very useful, but can't seem to get mine working. so does anybody that used, or own this device, have any knowledge of this function working on cars without the JDM ECU?
