Default How are your S2000s holding up?

Just curious how everyones S2ks are holding up over the years. I know they are Hondas...so the engines should be fine for quite a while, but then again we are talking about 9000 rpm screamers here.

I would also like to know how well the interior, exterior and paint is holding up to the elements, and how the car is doing in general.

An S2000 is in my future, and I would like to hear your stories.

Mine still feels\sounds\looks the same as the day I got it. The only things that have "changed" are a few extra paint nicks on the front bumper and normal wear on my leather seats.

Bought it with 18k and I now have 30k. It's been my daily driver for exactly one year in like 7 days.

dont put so much emphasis on the 9k rpm deal. the piston speed in an s2000 at extremely high rpms is comparable to a normal engines piston speed at normal passenger car rpms. its happy at 9k

keep in mind honda has motorcycles tgat rev to 14000 plus.

Good to hear. I figured the s2k would have typical honda reliablility.

When I get one it won't be highly modified, maybe just simple I/E.

My hatch is modified enough for me.

53k miles and the car is perfect! I live in IL where the weather isnt the best but the paint and everything is still looking good. If you take care of it it will take care of you.
