Default A little help here BREATHER BOX / S1 J1 CABLE TRANNY

I was woundering if anybody that has a full track car was using that little breather box on the back of the motor and whats its real purpose .Is it smog or do i really need it. You know the one the one that comes from the back of the block to the intake manifold. Also has anybody had one of the b series trannys rebuilt j1 or s1 sinkcros cable tranny Iam out here in Cali thanks in advance.

I am using one on my drag car.. Its just a box that allows oil that comes up with the crankcase pressure to be drained back into the engine.. Its basically a catch-can.. I just removed the pcv valve and left everything else there..

I rebuilt my YS1 cable tranny with new syncros, what do you want to know about the process?

I got a little more info on what to use for the syncros but i dont know how true or correct it is . I heard you can use 90 ls integ syncros what do you think

I think you should call Gear-speed and get a set of their carbon coated syncros for like $100 shipped..
