nope, usdm is the one with the numbers

jdm = usdm
d15b = d16z6
b18c = b18c1 or c5

B16a = JDM

B16a2 a3 = USDM

B16b = JDM civic type r (CTR)

You only have to use that **** so the rest of the idiots on this website think you're just as smart as them because you know chassis codes.

i also think that motor is a obd2 or 95+ jdm b16, the obd1 and older b16s dont have that vin plate on the tranny, usually just a sticker.
i could be wrong though.

d15b= motor that is not sold in U.S.

92-95 "ZC" = jdm z6.

the d15b is a 1.5 liter. the zc motor is a 1.6 vtec. i have one that i'm currently building.

What is the date stamped on the head? It should be 4 number inside lil circles. This will tell you what day and year your head was made!

All heads have this and will tell more info than than the stupid block number.

Since we are on this subject, I have a question too! I just bought a civic with a blown h22 in it for 1400. I know the engine is from a 92-96 prelude v-tec. The engine code is h22a, which means its JDM. I thought the h22a redline was 8200, but the kid that sold me the car says the redline for that engine is 7200? So what should the redline be, and does it vary depending on usdm and jdm? I know the jdm engines have higher comp. pistons, but thats about the only difference i know of. I'd appreciate your input.
