Default UKDM ECU SPEED LIMIT?

Hi there since the UKDM version comes with a speedometer that counts 260+ Km/h I was wondering what is the speed limit on that ECU? I have a JDM one and I have purchased the Mugen Speedometer which is similar to the one on the UKDM car, and it cuts at 210 Km/h... Can anyone answer my question?

thanks

I've never heard of an ITR with any speed limiter.

?

But on that note, I hope you're on a track doing 210 kph.

The UK speedometer is in miles per hour. You knew that, right? You're just mentioning KMH for convenience?

What ECU do you have in your car? UK and Euro ITR ECUs do not have a speed limiter. The only country with speed limiters is japan. Also as george said UK speedometers are in mph and read to 160mph and not 260kmph, if yours reads in kmph then its from a euro ITR. And one last point the speedo doen not control the speed limiter, thats done by the ECU but only on JDM ECUs and so it doesnt make any difference if you have a mugen spoon UK euro USDM or JDM speedo in your car, they all take their speed reading from the ECU

I do understand that the speedometer does not control the speed limit, and yes the UKDM has the speedo in Miles, I meant the EURO ITR then. My car is a Japanese one and has a P73 Ecu, I want to know if the EURO ITR ECU will have the same map as the JDM but with no speed limit? Where can I buy an EURO ITR ECU.......? I have been told that the USDM ECU has a different map than the JDM one, not as agressive.

thanks

You cannot use a UK or Euro ECU as they all came with built in immobilisers so you would also need to get the original keys and locks and ignition barrel asi have yet to hear of anyone managing to bypass the imobiliser on them. It would be much more simpler to buy an Apexi RSM and hook it up to your JDM p73 as they have a speed limiter removal function built in.
