** Molded side skirts **
The car i bought came with molded erebuni side skirts. I do not like them and was wondering if i could take them off myself.. or if i would have to take it to a body shop. If it needs to go to the body shop would it be expensive to take off?

looks exactly like this

also just noticed that on the passenger side, when you open the door it hits the side skirts and makes a small clank/boom noise

Basically the body shop/you would have to do the following to remove the skirts and get it back to "stock" look.
1. Rip off the side skirt since you dont know exactly where the line of the skirt meets the quarter panel.
2. Make sure the whole skirt is off the car.
3. Youll have a **** load of hardened bondo on your quarterpanel with messed up paint(cracked and chipped) due to the molded skirt.
4. Start sanding away till all bondo and paint cracks are gone and the quarter panel looks smooth, clean and stock looking. (this step will take time)
5. Paint.
Best results, take it to a shop if you dont know what your doing with body work/sanding till smooth.
Peace
