Macco paint job?
Everyone knows macco does shitty overspray jobs for a cheap price. Now what if you brought them just the body fully primed do you think youd get a nice pain job for 400 bucks? Inside and out including the engine bay? (tow it in)
A few times Ive read a few peoples post who say theyre alright when they bring them in primered and whatnot the paint job comes out okay.. but still, maaco's paintjobs dont last.. Dont waste your money there.. get one from a nice reputable place.
i took mine in pre primed. but they ended up sanding it down and primering it again. it came out good. i mean for 400 i wouldnt expect anything perfect. no overspray though. they usually over spray your exhaust. but i guess the guy that masked my car did a damn good job
Ok there good when it comes to respraying the same color. Try that same thing going milano red to lime green and see if you get that turn out. Can they do interior spray as well? Nice car by the way looks sharp.

I dunno... I <3 PGP so it was no contest for me. I'd say though if you prep and prime the car yourself it wouldn't be that bad.
And they are a regular bodyshop... so I'm sure they can paint anything you ask them to. Just remember... the more you want, the more you'll pay. That's just how it is.

I've already gotten shopping cart dings, light scratches, etc. My car is daily driven... no reason paying a couple g's for something like that.

I saw the thread title "Macco Paint Job" posted by user "Deathwish" and it made me laugh a little.... anyways, there are some big threads around here showing cars that have gotten Maaco paintjobs. Its all about what Maaco you go to though because I know that some individual shops will buy the Maaco franchise name so it all depends on how the shop was originally.

Haha that's funny (username -> Maaco).
Anyways... I've seen people pay $1000+ at a "real" paint shop and have it look worse than mine... it really DOES depend on which place you take it to... Maaco or not.

That's what I did. Ask to see some of the recent work they have done... ask what they cover and what they don't, if they take special instructions, etc. etc. Just be smart about it.

you can upgrade the macco paint job also. You can actually get a dicent job done for around 750 with them doing everything. They have a menu when you go in and you can add more clear coats, base coats, have them tape off, door jams, engine bay, etc
