it might do a bad job filtering the oil.

Why do you need a high flow oil filter???? OEM honda filters flow well enough for most if not all engines....Im operating under the assumption that you don't have a highly modified engine....think of it this way...you're running a 4 cylinder car....most likely either a 1.6, 1.8 or even the rare chance a 2.0 L....the OEM oil filter that you buy from Honda (15400-PLM-A02) fits the 5+6 cyl. 3.0 and 3.5L engines....I think the OEM can handle the demand of your 4 cyl.....

Personally, Id stick with OEM....getting a so called "high flow" oil filter is just asking for trouble IMO. Ah well....to each his/her own.

Purolator for me. There are bigger filters out there you can use. S2000 filter and CRV(?).

CRV's use the same filter as civics, accords, odysseys, etc....the only filters that are different now are for pre-1988 civics and the S2000.

purolator and mobil1 filters are just fine. don't buy fram unless you can't get one of those... and like everyone else said, there's no point in a "racing-inspired" oil filter - just a stupid gimmick to get you to spend more money.

Best oil filter period is made by AMSOIL. The efficency is slightly higher than the Mobil 1 and Purolator, but has better flow and much higher contaminate holding capacity. They reccomed change intervals of 12,500 miles or 6 months.
