So I finally stopped being lazy and took a picture of this crazy axle that came with my old d15b. I so confused when this thing was pulled off just because of the sheer size of it! I was just wondering if this is normal and if anyone else has seen one like it or has one this size.

 

i think since its soo long they beefed it up so it wouldnt break as easy compared to if it was skinny since the D series doesnt have the half shaft(correct me if im wrong). Mine was like that too btw.
