oh and with the 89 dx harness that i attempted to fix well the starter was bad, it would just click when you try and start it so i just swapped starters and now i get solid cel and solid ecu light which means bad ecu so do you think it fried the ecu or could it be a wiring problem causing it to do this?

swapping a different harness is a lot of work, but you could get an 89 dx harness and start over, it'd plug in.

take this with a grain of salt, but what i think happened is the wiring killed the ecu. theres other possibilities, but that's what i think. don't just put a different ecu in, because the same thing could happen.

well he may be a retard. now he is going to run to his friends and tell them how easy it is to do a motor swap. now he is going to come on here and give advice on how he did the wiring swap.
