I'm running a JDM ITR 23mm rear sway and the a-spec-racing subframe reinforcement bar and love it. Charleston from a-spec-racing was great and had it shipped right away great customer service too.

charleston is a great guy.
i think he's running a 32mm bar with his subframe on his civic.
haha needless to say it's pretty easy to get the rear end to step out and the subframe is holding up...

a hallow bar is different then a OEM ITR bar, you can't say a 22mm ITR bar is equal to a 22mm hallow bar like the one charleston runs. there is a thread around here some were, where some one give a formula for comparing the two

If you take the formula from the Neuspeed website
http://www.neuspeed.com/faq/fa...mport
The 32mm with 2.5mm wall thickness is 7% stiffer than the Mugen 26mm
I currently run the 32mm with 3mm wall thickness which is 27% stiffer than the 26mm Mugen bar.
On my civic with street/track set up I found that the 2.5mm thickness is suitable for high speed tracks like Willow Springs and Button Willow CW #13. For low speed tracks like Streets of Willow the 3mm works a lot better.
I ran the 3mm this weekend at Buttonwillow CW #13 and the car was really hairy entering the bus stop and the dog leg left to magic mountain. A moderate bump and slight lift in the throttle will send the rear end to a slide.
And for those of you who wasn't able to see the display at BW. Here is the prototype EG/DC race bar set up I've been working on.

Thank you!

The EG/DC setup looks really nice. Can't wait to see the production model released.

the endlinks are adjustable

When you run large diameter swaybars with non type R subframes, its a safety thing, better safe than sorry. When you tear your subframe and your car is totalled because you ran a type R sway bar an thought you were hot **** then you you will be crying about not getting a somewhat cheap but also high quality part like this. Next suspension mod i am doing is the aspec brace/32mm combo for my del sol.

By my calcs, a 32mm sway is 229% stiffer than a 26mm sway.
(32*32*32*32) / (26*26*26*26) = 2.29
Am I missing something?

If it's stiffer than the Mugen bar...that's awfully stiff, and awfully tail-happy. Probably not for a noobie driver, and without a doubt not necessary for street-only use.
