I got my car back fom the paint shop on Friday and the Yahoos painted over my smog certificate sticker How can I remove the paint without eating away the sticker. I had to go to the smog ref 3 times to finally get this, so it is very important. Can I use acetone or "goo gone"? Any info is GREATLY!!!!! appreciated!

No not yet, I figure if they would be stupid enough to spray over a Smog Ref sticker then they wouldn't know anyway

where is the sticker located? If its on the glass, i can help you out. If its on the body, then you might be looking at wet sanding. And if you say, who the hell are you, i say i am a detailer for a honda dealer, so i have a bit of experience

 

go back to the shop and tell them off!

wet sanding would probably do the trick. if the sticker is pretty sturdy, which i'm guessing it is, then it'll stand up to this fine.
