Default ok guys time to move on to vtec....

Ok, just got done with my full Si swap on the std. mpfi, a6 engine, si trans, etc. Now I unfortunately found out that the piece of crap, well not really a piece of crap, but anyways, the d16 is smoking its guts out. So I decided that insted of a rebuild I can get a d15b or a z6 with low mileage for little money.

So my questions are these. I really want to convert to odb-1 and pretty much know what to do in that aspect but I want to know about what will happen to my resistor box, and if the 4 wire o2 sensor will go where my current 02 sensor is??? And what other things will I need for this swap? btw I did search..but nothing too useful came up.

thanks Dre

If you keep your 0bd0 injectors, you keep your resistor box. If you swap, youll need to pull it out and solder all the wires together, and youll need obd1 injector clips. And yes, the 4wire o2 will go where the stock one is, but you will have to run 4 wires for it and 3 for teh vtec sylinoid back to the ecu. If you get a conversion harness for the ecu its really easy, those 7 wires will just tie into the labeled wires on teh harness.
