5th gen H22 EGR Help
hey everyone.......ive been having EGR Valve trouble ever since ive installed my h in my 5th gen. i keep getting code 12 after driving a lil while. ive tried everything.......cleaned EGR ports, changed EGR Valves and even messed with the wiring at the ECU, the EGR wire is in A6. The solenoid and everything seems to be ok because it is making the valve open up(obviously when the vacuum port is hooked up). now the only problem is, when the vacuum hose is hooked up, it opens up when its not supposed to open up. every time i take off from a start or release the gas and other random times, my exhaust starts popping and losing power like there is too much gas and not enough air or the opposite, im not sure how it is, and there is also a hesitation when i get back on the gas, which is due to the EGR valve opening.....but anyway.....ive had a Certified Honda Technician(Jon Hope, for those of you who know of him) and he cannot figure out why the EGR is opening up all the time......like i said, everything as far as wiring and vacuum lines are concerned are all connected and hooked up right...as far as we know anyway....well by the honda book anyway. well to make a really long story short, DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY SOLUTIONS THAT MAY HELP ME IN FIGURING THIS BULLSHIT OUT??????????
please ask any other questions that you may have before you start makin fun of me cuz this is hard to explain. i am somewhat highly knowledgable about Hondas and especially my car, so dont hesitate to ask a technical question.
and also, i know i did a hideous job of explaining this situation, but just bare with me.

motor was built in 92, as far as the markings on the head anyway, everything is OBD1, everything is stock except for aftermarket clutch, flywheel, intake, header, exhaust and plug wires. if you need any other details, let me know!

hey,,
how u doing,, first i'm not really a pro in CARs, but i i think of CARs of GOD's so my god is HONDA,,,
1. what is EGR
2. 92 is it a H22a or H22a.. with a digit,,, ?
3. is the Spoon P13 your using supporting the H22a or it just supports B16 & B18 series (in other words B series Engines)
4. what was your original Engine ?
,,
if the car is starting then Mechanical part is O.K., so you have Fuel, Air, Electrical componands to check only,,,

all the best.
