I recently purchased CTR headlights for my 99 Civic and I was wondering if I should put a transparent film on the headlights to protect the lens? Will the lens be messed up if I decide to take the film off later on down the road?

I was thinking about getting this:

When you take them off there will probably be some left over glue but you can use gum cutter to take it off. I really don't see a need unless you drive on dirt road a lot and worry about rocks, also I think they will break anyway just not shatter
