Molybdenum Disulfide???
Okay I'm changing my clucth and ran across this product that the Honda Service manual recommends putting on the main shaft and the release fork. From past experience I've seen people use luthiem based wheel bearing greese before. Now my question is what's the difference? Can I just use wheel bearing grease or do I have to use the Moly base grease? And where can I get it? What have you used before?
a simple google search will give you answers:

Molybdenum disulfide's claim to fame as a lubricant is that it works under HIGH pressure where most other
lubricants would break down (and, yes, it does have a low coefficient of friction, too). 0.3 micron diameter particle
moly (I believe, one of the highest grades of moly) has a working pressure of 500,000+ PSI at -100 to +1000
degerees F. (Data from Parsec's specifications for the moly that they use in their moly containing products.) I would imagine that the pressure between the bullet and rifling JUST as they meet, as engraving starts, is pretty darn high.
so my guess is its a high temp lubracant.

I did that sir but that doesn't answer my other questions...
1-Do I have to use that type of grease or could I use wheel bearing grease?
2-Where can I get them?
3-What have you used?

The Helms calls for High Temp Urea grease.
Its what I bought and used because thats the manual called for....and the manual hasn't failed me yet.
So...what should you do? Stick with what the manual suggests, is my suggestion.
