Default Did a search, still stumped on my 92-95 civic dash removal.......

Ok I searched and came up with some posts, but I still cant seem to figure it out....
I wrecked my 94 coupe and have sold the complete black interior to a Local person for $350...

my dillema is this: I have everything out except for the dash.... It feels like it wants to come off but it feels like it is being stuck on by the airbag... I have all screws out etc....Can someone give me a detailed post on what exactly I need to do now? I read that you dont pull the airbag and then i read that you do.....

Your going to have to make sure all the bolts holding the passenger airbag are out behind the glovebox. Then you have to lift out and UP and the same time to clear the dash support. Make sure you dropped the steering column as well.

Did you disconnect every wire? The are some behind the center console that are kinda hard to see. The airbags only have 1 wire each holding them in and once you disconnect them you only have to take out the screws to free them. Just double check to be sure you didnt miss anyscrews and that no wires are cought on anything.

You do not have to remove the airbag from the passenger side to take the dash out. just be sure the steering wheel is off and lift it up and out it should come out pretty easily if everything is detached.
