zc problems in 89 hatch

Default zc problems in 89 hatch

OBD1 zc in my 89 hatch, si pm6 computer, distrubutor is wired for OBD1, plenty of fuel pressure, throwing a CODE 8, what should i do? oh yeah, CODE 8 is TDC sensor

if your obd-1 you need a obd-1 ecu and distributor

Hmotors said the ECU is fine, and the distributor is OBD1, i was just saying all the proper wire is done to convert, the CODE 8 is the problem, thanx.

do you have an obd-1 conversion harness?
i bet your problem is the distributor, throw an obd-0 dizzy on there and she'll fire up

your dizzy and ecu have to be the same obd basically

I've never heard of someone wiring an OBD1 dizzy as OBD0. weird...

And if they said the ecu was fine and you did all the wiring right, then the obviously dizzy isn't fine

if its a dohc zc check your cyl position sensor wires they might be crossed

if not check the 2 white wires on the dizzy and check your timing belt it might have skipped a tooth
