i have a cheap ebay exhaust right now and that shiet is loud........ was wonderin wat is the best exhaust that is quiet and good for performance...

 

i saw a thread on it awhile back(maybe a month ago) try a search to see if you find it

 

just keep you e-bay exhaust and put a new muffler on.

 

the greddy is quiet compared to other models. It peaks @ 3,000 rpms and then gets quieter. Very quiet idle and low tone

Talk to b16a_madman, we installed a RSR exhaust on his car and it is VERY quiet.

 

APEX I world sport is a great sounding system.

 

Dude I had a tanabe r/m and that thing was disgustingly loud, sold it... Greddy SP2 minor performance noticable, still loud as sin, sold it.. Now I have Apexi N1, very pleased... It can be loud at mid rpm range when it starts to open up, but put silencer on and ur good to go.... I've heard a bunch of negatives about it, but I like it.... looks good, sounds good, smells good, feels good, everything is just good for me... Sorry for u guys who didnt have any luck with it lol.. fits good right under my mugen lip

Putting a borla muffler and 2 dynomax resinators on soon. Supposed to be crazy quiet. We shall see!!!

I just kept being told by others borla is the quietest performance muffler.

 

just get a muff, u dont want to spend $800 for a new exhaust sys...or do you.. :D

Where the HELL do you buy your exhaust systems?

I've seen World Sports sell for 400 shipped and magnaflows for 350...

You dont need ultra JDM exhausts or anything...

Anyways, I have an Apex'i WS on my accord and it's nice and quiet, its just mild steel thats rusting away.

For my hatch i'm custom building a 2.5" magnaflow muffler with an 18" arvin volt resonator and hopefully it'll cover up the sound of my K

 

i got my OE CTR catback for $300, my car sounds like a mildly disturbed G35 coupe

My N1 is great. It has a deep tone that doesnt sound like a lawn-mower. I think they come with a silencer new, but mine didnt. I think it sound great without it.

 

go get a RSR exmag...great quality and great sound at WOT, but very deep low tone at idle.

look above you y0 Magnaflow catback with "high-flow" cat from ebay for 346 shipped.

 

a friend of mine had one on his hatch. 2.5" piping, 22" resonator and magnaflow muffler. looked stock and sounded stock until he hit VTEC.

 

RS*R make the best, queitest exhaust on the market, but is pricey.

 

i have the 2.25 piping and all i need is the muffler.

 

i say magnaflow muffler w/ custom piping, got mine w/resonator muffler piping installed for $260. nice deep tone, nothing raspy, and works well

 

i like my oem exhaust.

being quiet and not drawing unwanted attention &gt; 5 hp
