2002 Accord question
I put 16" rims on my wife's Accord (205/55/16 tires) and it looks pretty good but I was wondering what would be the best way to lower it slightly (1/2" - 1") ?
Eibach and H&R are probably the most popular springs. You can get some that will lower your car by about an inch. I've had Eibach pro-kits and was pretty satisfied with them. They'll run you probably around $100-150.
Thanks for the info, a few more questions:
Do all I need to do is change the springs? (or do I need other parts too, like struts)
Will lowering it an inch or so affect the ride noticably (this is the wife's car)?
Will the tires rub the fenderwells?

Unless you get aftermarket shocks, you will notice a stiffer ride. Shocks will probably run you $200-600 depending on what kind you get. But if all you're looking for is lowering, just the springs will do the job. Also, if you're only going down an inch, you shouldn't have to worry about rubbing. The only thing is get an alignment done. Make sure the toe setting's good, so as to not get any camber wear.
