What to do: make it an NA beast or sell car in 6 months.
I basically done a lot to the engine except compression. At first I was thinking about some nice 12:1 pistons. However, adding compression to a motor isn't cheap. VERY expensive. So, now I'm thinking if it's worth my money.
I drive a 1996 Black GSR. It's in GREAT condition. Wax it every couple of months. Great condition. BUT, it's aging.
I may be able to get rid of it buy probably get something a little higher up on the performance scale. Maybe WRX, used S4, or the EVO (if it EVER comes over). Those are my dream cars ...
However, if I do decide to keep the teg for 3-4 more years ... I will make it an NA beast. 2.0 liter conversion. Looking for 215-220 WHP. The car WILL BE FAST. Much faster than the above cars listed.
Keep the '96 TEG for 4 more years or stop spending money and dump it in a year or so for something better (new project?)?
One more thing ... I just don't want to regret dumping the TEG. I would love to tell my kids I had an NA beast TEG. haha

if it was me i say keep ur car and just save for a couple years or sum and go down ur dream car and have the best of both worlds
but that's me...
but that's me...
Keep your '96 for a few years... nothing better than not paying the montly payments. Then, when you have a hefty down-payment saved up, pick up your dream car.

Mitsubishi has also announced that it is definitely arriving in January 2003.
