Default OT: I just taught my girlfriend to drive stick in the ITR!

I just came back from teaching my girlfriend to drive stick in my ITR. That was a very scary experience. The hesitation to pull the e-brake the moment the car started rolling was constant.

Fortunately, she is a natural

I need to go drink some to calm down the nerves now.

Aren't you selling your car? Maybe you should have kept this to yourself.

My girlfriend also had her first manual tranny experience with my R. I was actually impressed but I think she needs more sessions to truly master it.

anyway it probably wasn't your girl, it was probably you and I doing clutch drops to get your car out of the snow. Or are you talking about the green teg...

No, I am no longer selling the car. It is such a beauty, that I cannot part with the ITR. It's just a matter of settling insurance problems. I predict a beater car in the future to achieve multi-car discounts.

My girlfriend is too excited now. She wants to take a look at the RSX-S or the upcoming Si. And of course, in this weird world of insurance. I can insure a 95 Dx hatchback, the RSX-S, and the ITR under myself with my girlfriend as a secondary driver for the same amount of what it will cost me to insure the ITR alone
