Default *Refinishing SSR's Question.....*

i have just recently bought some SSR Schumachers for da whip. my questions is that they have some curbage on them and the lip has some like scratches from like a rough towel and i was wondering if anyone knows if i can jsut sand down the lip and get to a real fine sand paper and jsut repolish them wiht some meguiars metal polish? OR do i have to have them sent off to get them refinished? if i have to send them off i might just get the lips chromed (buddy can get me a good deal). I also have to rechrome the center caps cause they are F'd (and seller didnt tell me). if anyone has any imput or experience that would be great! Thanks alot guys!

this is also in the wheel/tire forum, but no one looks in there very much!

depends...if it's really deep, you have to send em out to get welded and refinished
