Default Anyone know what the theory behind using colder plugs due to change in exhaust?

Anyone know what the theory behind this statement is?

From the j's racing website -

http://www.jsracing.co.jp/
--> products --> exhaust ---> dc2

"Use more than no.8 of the iridium plug due to better ignition efficiency"

right now, I'm assuming that j's recommend the colder plug after modification of the exhaust.... but why? Is it really better ignition efficiency or just a bad translation

Your changing the way the motor/ exhuast is working, Since I have changed my exhaust to a much better flowing system I have noticed the plugs cleaner and I have been getting better MPG.

Other then a AEM intake and header back exhaust my car is stock, Including plugs.

As for what I meant cleaner... less oil build up on a hard drive. (plugs checked immediately after drive.)
