has anybody use camgears to tune out their typeR cams? what did you set your cam gear to for the intake and exhaust cams? what kind of gain did you get from it and where in the power band did it improve the most? i'm looking to do this soon and want to get some ideal and what to expect. i think there so many ways to try it, and i don't want to miss something and not get the most power out of it. beside how much cam you turn it before you started to get clearance problems?

 

I too would like to see what everyone is tuning their cam gears to. I know every motor is different but it would be good if you guys will post your mods and your cam gear settings so we can compare.

 

advance 4degrees intake, retard 2 to 4degrees on exhaust. I/h/e max gain of 5whp. Stock timing.

 

I ran +1 intake, -4 exhaust (dyno tuned). Gained 3-4 accross the board. I/H/E/underdrive pulleys, stock fuel pressure, 17 degrees timing.
