I always liked the way they were on the street.
They do dust alot, but what hi-po pad doesn't!

I consider my HPS pads worthless on the track, but I weigh a little more and go a lot faster than you average honda (11.5" rotors and wilwood dynalite calipers, FWIW) pads give up about three hard laps into a session at waterford hills or gingerman raceway - HP+ i suspect would only be marginally better for me, but would probably be an excellent compromise for a "stock" street car that saw occasional track use, if you only had one set of pads.
I would suggest you call Cobalt Friction to get their advice, and buy your pads from them. They sell a number of brands, including Hawk, as well as excellent compounds under their own brand name, and they can give you expert advice on how all the various compounds compare. They also have great prices and great service.
Ive been running HP+'s for a few months. have 4 full days on track and inbetween time street driving. they arent bad. dust a ton, a little noisy (when they get hot they are REAL noisy lol) but they are a good all around pad. havent had a problem with fade or anything, last event was at a track where i saw 120 on the front stretch. motul RBF600 fluid being used also.

I mix and match the "regular" Hawks... HP+ front and HPS rear on a camaro. Works great on the street and will absolutely haul down the 3300lbs of car very quickly with sticky tires. No fade issues at all. HP+ dust like crazy, but if you buy the right color wheels (anthracite Z06 replicas) you can hardly tell ... LOL
Work great daily driving, even cold they are better than stock brakes and once up to temperature you have "supercar" brakes...
